Advisory on Alcohol Service
If you’d like to include alcohol at your pop-up or event, even if it’s being offered for free, New York State requires a permit. A licensed caterer needs to handle the application, and it must be submitted at least two weeks before your event. You’ll also need liquor liability insurance. These items are the client’s responsibility, but once they’re in place, you’ll be ready to move forward without delay.
